Ikon Engineers Canada Ltd. is situated in Whistler, BC and is hiring a Technologist, structural design to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints to determine dimensions of structures or systems and material requirements.
• The candidate must assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings.
• The candidate must participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations.
• The candidate must prepare engineering designs and drawings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
