Swine herdsperson

Sunterra Farms Ltd. ( Acme, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Swine herdsperson. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Early morning, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must perform livestock feeding.
• The candidate must perform pig littering activities, including clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medications, identifying piglets, and castration.
• The candidate must perform weaning tasks.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must manage the overall operation of the farm.
• The candidate must maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings.

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
