British Swim School of Halton is situated in Milton, ON and is hiring a Swimming instructor - recreation to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment - Part time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Shift, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs.
• The candidate must conduct therapeutic recreational or athletic activities.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must monitor recreational, sports, or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
