Job Description
- The candidate must clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- The candidate must keep records of the quantities of food used.
- The candidate must package take-out food.
- The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
- The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
- The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
- The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
- The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- The candidate must sharpen kitchen knives.
- The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
- The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
- The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
