ALPHA D Hair Salon ( Vancouver, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Stylist, hair. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must analyze hair and scalp conditions to determine appropriate treatments.
• The candidate must provide custom hair and scalp treatment.
• The candidate must shampoo customers’ hair.
• The candidate must supervise apprentices/students in training.
• The candidate must apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair.
• The candidate must apply hair extensions.
• The candidate must cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
• The candidate must suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
