Day Stucco in Calgary, AB is inviting applications for the position of Stucco plasterer. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Day, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and prepare surfaces.
• The candidate must fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• The candidate must finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required.
• The candidate must mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.
• The candidate must mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
• The candidate must smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry.
• The candidate must spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
• The candidate must trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
