Bangla Bazaar Supermarket in Calgary, AB is inviting applications for the position of Store manager - retail. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct and control daily operations.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must manage staff and assign duties to ensure smooth operations.
• The candidate must study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors’ operations on sales.
• The candidate must determine which merchandise and services are to be sold.
• The candidate must implement price and credit policies.
• The candidate must locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
• The candidate must develop and implement marketing strategies.
