Diesel engine mechanic

NGA Logistics Ltd ( Winnipeg, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Diesel engine mechanic. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• The candidate must order parts and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• The candidate must test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• The candidate must clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
• The candidate must perform repair work on heavy trucks.
• The candidate must service attachments and working tools.
• The candidate must verify and repair emission control systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
