STRASSER & LANG in Thunder Bay, ON is inviting applications for the position of Shingler. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• The candidate must install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• The candidate must repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings.
• The candidate must repair roofing systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
