Shearer - metal working

TMS Système ( Saint-Henri-de-Lévis, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Shearer - metal working. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• The candidate must document work completed.
• The candidate must lay out, set up, and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
• The candidate must read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• The candidate must select and transport materials to work areas manually or using cranes or hoists.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
