Service attendant - medical

VILLA DES GENERATIONS DU TREMBLANT in Mont-Tremblant, QC is seeking a self-motivated Service attendant - medical. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Work schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities.
• The candidate must perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
• The candidate must perform other duties related to personal care.
• The candidate must supply and empty bed pans.
• The candidate must take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate must make beds and maintain patients’ rooms.
• The candidate must supervise patients’ exercise routines.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and groom patients.
• The candidate must transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.
• The candidate must answer call signals to determine patients’ needs.
• The candidate must administer first aid in emergency situations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
