Server - food and beverage services

Emos Restaurant in Revelstoke, BC is inviting applications for the position of Server - food and beverage services. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment - Part time position. The schedule involves Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables.
• The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
• The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
• The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• The candidate must balance cash and record sales.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• The candidate must serve food and beverages.
• The candidate must take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
