Seamstress

Blair Shapera ( Vancouver, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Seamstress. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.
• The candidate must fit, alter, and repair garments as required.
• The candidate must operate sewing machines or sew by hand.
• The candidate must mark, cut, and sew fabric.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
