Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services is situated in Shilo, MB and is hiring a Sales associate - retail to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time opportunity. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must perform suggestive selling.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.

• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
• The candidate should work in a liquor and wine store to provide courteous customer service dealing with the sale of liquor and to know and observe the various state and local regulations.
• The candidate must work in a gas bar.
• The candidate must work at a military base or location to support operations, logistics, training, or technical services in accordance with security and safety standards.
