Sales associate - retail

Now hiring: Sales associate - retail at MY Home Furniture in Kanata, ON. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be collaborative.
• The candidate must be creative.
• The candidate must be energetic.
• The candidate must be goal-oriented.
• The candidate must be outgoing.
