Route driver

Mrs. Dunster's in Dartmouth, NS is inviting applications for the position of Route driver. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must accept payment or invoices for items delivered.
• The candidate must keep a record of items received and delivered.
• The candidate must prepare, package, and restock goods.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must follow directions and read maps.
• The candidate must use maps and other trip planning aids.
• The candidate must record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
• The candidate must pay and receive payments for goods.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
