Retail sales associate

Petro Canada is situated in Newport, NS and is hiring a Retail sales associate to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must plan and develop permanent, temporary, or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
• The candidate must operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must perform data entry.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.
• The candidate must prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
