Atlantic Private Protection Service ( Halifax, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Retail loss prevention officer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate may be required to appear in court as a witness.
• The candidate must produce reports.
• The candidate must enforce regulations to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities.
• The candidate must prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a retail service establishment.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work in a private security agency to provide protection, monitor premises, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• The candidate should work in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution center handling products from manufacturers or wholesalers, organizing them, and shipping them to their final destinations as quickly as possible.
• The candidate should work in a shopping center or mall and provide a business place that includes retail space/units, facilities, and services to potential retailers.
