NKA Counselling and Consulting Inc is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Life skills coach to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare reports or case histories.
• The candidate must supervise support staff.
• The candidate must perform administrative and office activities.
• The candidate must appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services.
• The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
• The candidate must conduct social research.
• The candidate must assess clients’ relevant skill strengths and development needs.
• The candidate must conduct follow-up assessments.
• The candidate must develop, co-ordinate, and implement the delivery of specific services within the community.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
• The candidate must offer mentoring.
• The candidate must plan assistance programs for clients.
• The candidate must answer clients' inquiries and provide information.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
