Retail butcher

H-Mart Victoria Inc. ( Victoria, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Retail butcher. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare special cuts of meat as ordered by customers.
• The candidate must cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• The candidate must wrap and package prepared meats.
• The candidate must train meat cutters.
• The candidate must shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
