Sushi Oyama Japanese Dining House in Burnaby, BC is inviting applications for the position of Restaurant manager. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Evening, Weekend, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must monitor staff performance.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must recruit staff.
• The candidate must determine the types of services to be offered and implement appropriate operational procedures.
• The candidate must balance cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial documentation.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must cost products and services.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
