WhamBurger is situated in Nepean, ON and is hiring a Restaurant general manager to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
• The candidate must authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
• The candidate must coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
• The candidate must establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
• The candidate must represent the organization, or delegate representatives, in negotiations or other official functions.
• The candidate must select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must have successfully completed studies in Hospitality administration/management (other).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

• The candidate must work in the accommodation and food services sector performing hospitality and service-related duties.

• The candidate must work in a restaurant or food service setting to prepare and serve food and beverages while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
