DENNY'S RESTAURANTS in Victoria, BC is seeking a self-motivated Restaurant cook. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
