Rehabilitation aide

Elite Sports Physio and Massage ( Chilliwack, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Rehabilitation aide. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist health care professionals as needed.
• The candidate must position patients for treatments by chiropractors or machines.
• The candidate must set up and dismantle equipment.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of equipment.
• The candidate must document patient rehabilitation progress.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas.
• The candidate must process files and paperwork.
• The candidate must schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.
• The candidate must manage routine office functions including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a hospital, medical facility, or clinic, including departments or outpatient centres focused on sports medicine, rehabilitation, or wellness.

• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
