Recycling truck driver - public works

Excelone Staffing Services in North York, ON is seeking a self-motivated Recycling truck driver - public works. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate various vehicles and equipment.
• The candidate must report any malfunctions to supervisors.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).
