Quality control technician - chemical processing

PNP Pharmaceuticals Inc in Burnaby, BC is seeking a self-motivated Quality control technician - chemical processing. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must conduct or assist in air and water quality testing.
• The candidate must conduct or assist in environmental monitoring and protection activities.
• The candidate must maintain laboratory equipment.
• The candidate must operate laboratory apparatus.
• The candidate must compile records for analytical studies.
• The candidate must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• The candidate must be familiar with MS Office applications.
• The candidate must assist in developing sampling and analysis programs to maintain quality standards.
• The candidate must assist in the development of standards and health and safety measures.
• The candidate must develop and conduct sampling and analysis programs.
• The candidate must conduct safety training programs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be versatile.
• The candidate must be proactive.
