Project mechanical engineer

Portable Pipe Hangers (Canada) Inc. ( Concord, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Project mechanical engineer. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Term or contractFull time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems.
• The candidate must design power plants, machines and equipment.
• The candidate must analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures.
• The candidate must supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems.
• The candidate must plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
• The candidate must prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance.
• The candidate must supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates.
• The candidate must assess business opportunities and develop strategies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be hardworking.

• The candidate must work in an engineering firm to design, plan, and manage technical projects and solutions.
