Manpower Services Canada Limit in Dartmouth, NS is seeking a self-motivated Project manager, construction. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Term or contractFull time employment. The schedule involves Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate subcontractor activities.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must select trade subcontractors.
• The candidate must prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
• The candidate must plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress.
• The candidate must prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
• The candidate must read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• The candidate must plan and manage budgets.
• The candidate must develop and implement quality control programs.
• The candidate must prepare reports.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The applicant should work in industrial construction, deals with factories, power plants, warehouses, and other highly specialized facilities.
