Production planner

Tony's Meats Ltd. is situated in Lanark, NS and is hiring a Production planner to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
• The candidate must work in manufacturing or processing to operate equipment, assemble products, and maintain quality standards.
