Production manager - manufacturing

Canada Steel Works Ltd. is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Production manager - manufacturing to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines.
• The candidate must direct quality control inspections.
• The candidate must hire, supervise, and train employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must plan and manage the establishment of departmental budgets.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
