Production helper

Montpak international is situated in Laval, QC and is hiring a Production helper to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Day, Evening, Night, Shift, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.
• The candidate must transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials.
• The candidate must manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers.
• The candidate must feed and unload processing machines.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a meat processing and packing plant/establishment that protects meat and meat products during processing, storage, and distribution from mechanical, chemical, and biological hazards.
