Amecan Canada is situated in Mississauga, ON and is hiring a Procurement specialist to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
• The candidate must assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
• The candidate must develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
• The candidate must negotiate offers from suppliers.
• The candidate must consult with suppliers.
• The candidate must hire, train, and supervise staff.
• The candidate must review quotations.
• The candidate must determine contract terms and conditions.
• The candidate must establish delivery schedules.
• The candidate must monitor progress of delivery schedules.
• The candidate must contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
• The candidate must plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
