Dubé Excavation is situated in Rouyn-Noranda, QC and is hiring a Procurement officer to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
• The candidate must assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
• The candidate must develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
• The candidate must negotiate offers from suppliers.
• The candidate must consult with suppliers.
• The candidate must review quotations.
• The candidate must establish delivery schedules.
• The candidate must monitor progress of delivery schedules.
• The candidate must contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
• The candidate must plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must demonstrate leadership.
