Process control operator - food and beverage processing

Ice River Springs in Lachute, QC is inviting applications for the position of Process control operator - food and beverage processing. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate machinery to process and package alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must record production information.
• The candidate must observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must inform supervisors of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
• The candidate must maintain a shift log of production and other data.
• The candidate must set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• The candidate must check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in a non-alcoholic beverage plant to operate machinery, manage production, and maintain product quality.
