MinutemanPress East Van Print is situated in Vancouver, BC and is hiring a Printing press operator to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must advise press crews on product specifications or material requirements.
• The candidate must prepare production schedules.
• The candidate must review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence and required quantities.
• The candidate must plan production methods.
• The candidate must estimate costs.
• The candidate must monitor regular press runs for quality using a computer control console.
• The candidate must set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment.
• The candidate must review work orders to determine job specifications.
• The candidate must operate and monitor printing machines during print runs and make necessary adjustments.
• The candidate must design and layout pages.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
