Pollon Poultry Co.Ltd in Surrey, BC is inviting applications for the position of Poultry farm worker. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must diagnose livestock health issues.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.

• The candidate must work in dirty environments.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
