Plumber

Eston Sheet Metal (1981) Ltd is situated in Eston, SK and is hiring a Plumber to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• The candidate must repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems.
• The candidate must locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
• The candidate must cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• The candidate must join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
• The candidate must test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• The candidate must determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• The candidate must supervise other workers.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.
• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
