Now hiring: Plasterer at Trigrand Restoration in North York, ON. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster.
• The candidate must clean and prepare surfaces.
• The candidate must cure freshly plastered surfaces.
• The candidate must finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required.
• The candidate must mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.
• The candidate must mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
• The candidate must spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
• The candidate must trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
• The candidate must install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied.
• The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
