This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Job Description

• The candidate must administer evaluative tests.
• The candidate must administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, record results, and monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment.
• The candidate must assess patients’ physical abilities.
• The candidate must assist health care professionals as needed.
• The candidate must assist physicians in the assessment of patients.
• The candidate must carry out treatment programs under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities.
• The candidate must develop information materials for patients.
• The candidate must examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend type of hearing instrument, take earmold impressions, and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments.
• The candidate must examine patients.
• The candidate must follow through on treatment programs with patients.
• The candidate must assist the medical examiner in charge.
• The candidate must help physical therapists.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products accurately.
• The candidate must maintain prescription records accurately.
• The candidate must make decisions on tests and procedures.
• The candidate must set up and dismantle equipment.
• The candidate must supervise technical and support staff.
• The candidate must administer evaluative tests and procedures.
• The candidate must apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages.
• The candidate must compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must hire and train staff.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
• The candidate must reassemble equipment and prepare sterile supply packs for hospital departments.
• The candidate must record information about donors.
• The candidate must record vital signs.
• The candidate must assist chiropractors with patient health education.
• The candidate must order and purchase equipment.
• The candidate must plan physiotherapy programs.
• The candidate must maintain clinical and progress reports.
• The candidate must connect treatment machines to patients, as directed by chiropractors.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of equipment.
• The candidate must conduct research in physiotherapy.
• The candidate must document patient rehabilitation progress.
• The candidate must perform general clerical duties.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas.
• The candidate must process files and paperwork.
• The candidate must schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.
• The candidate must take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history.
• The candidate must teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
