Pharmacy technician

Jean Coutu Michel Desjardins et yara mohareb ( Saint-Jérôme, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Pharmacy technician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• The candidate must enter client information in databases.
• The candidate must prepare medications for clients.
• The candidate must assist with scheduling and workflow.
• The candidate must bill third-party insurers.
• The candidate must compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must interpret physician's specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be dedicated.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a pharmacy or drugstore.
