Penhold IDA Pharmacy ( Red Deer County, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Pharmacy technical assistant. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• The candidate must enter client information in databases.
• The candidate must help pharmacists.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products accurately.
• The candidate must maintain prescription records accurately.
• The candidate must prepare medications for clients.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
• The candidate must schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a pharmacy or drugstore.
