Pharmacy technical assistant

Jean Coutu ( Québec, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Pharmacy technical assistant. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• The candidate must enter client information in databases.
• The candidate must help pharmacists.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products accurately.
• The candidate must maintain prescription records accurately.
• The candidate must prepare medications for clients.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must process claims such as health insurance or workers’ compensation.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
