Respect Rx Ottawa East Pharmacy in Vanier, ON is seeking a self-motivated Pharmacy assistant. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• The candidate must enter client information in databases.
• The candidate must help pharmacists.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products accurately.
• The candidate must maintain prescription records accurately.
• The candidate must prepare medications for clients.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must bill third-party insurers.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must manage routine office functions including reception, telephone, and booking appointments.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a pharmacy or drugstore.
