Pharmacy assistant

Health Hub Pharmacy in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking a self-motivated Pharmacy assistant. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• The candidate must enter client information in databases.
• The candidate must help pharmacists.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products accurately.
• The candidate must maintain prescription records accurately.
• The candidate must prepare medications for clients.
• The candidate must bill third-party insurers.
• The candidate must compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must process claims such as health insurance or workers’ compensation.
• The candidate must maintain supplies.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
