Health Hub Pharmacy in Grande Prairie, AB is inviting applications for the position of Pharmacy assistant. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• The candidate must enter client information in databases.
• The candidate must help pharmacists.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products accurately.
• The candidate must maintain prescription records accurately.
• The candidate must prepare medications for clients.
• The candidate must bill third-party insurers.
• The candidate must compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must process claims such as health insurance or workers’ compensation.
• The candidate must maintain supplies.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be accurate.
