Pet master groomer

GroomArts Academy Ltd in Edmonton, AB is inviting applications for the position of Pet master groomer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must bathe and shampoo animals.
• The candidate must clip animal coats.
• The candidate must document animal behaviour accurately.
• The candidate must style animal coats.
• The candidate must supervise helpers.
• The candidate must supervise apprentices/students in training.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a pet grooming shop to care for animals, perform grooming services, and ensure animal safety and hygiene.
