Cornelius Falk in Rocky Mountain House, AB is seeking a self-motivated Personal support worker - home support. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must change non-sterile dressings.
• The candidate must collect specimens.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be punctual.
