Heather Beg ( Brampton, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Personal support worker - home support. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Term or contractFull time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must shop for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must cook meals as required.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

• The candidate must be honest.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
