Corinne Badry ( Fort St. John, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Personal care aide - home care. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer bedside and personal care to clients.
• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must assist in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must change non-sterile dressings.
• The candidate must feed or assist in feeding.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

• The candidate should be willing to work for long hours in sitting positions.
