Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for preparing employee earnings statements, detailing gross and net salaries, as well as deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension contributions.
- The candidate must prepare and balance period-end payroll reports and reconcile payrolls with bank statements.
- The candidate must prepare monthly statements.
- The candidate must inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans.
- The candidate must compile statistical data and prepare reports.
- The candidate must maintain payroll.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements using manual or computerized systems.
- The candidate must prepare T4 statements and other required payroll documentation.
- The candidate must perform data entry.
- The candidate must ensure the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll records, and other summaries.

- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
